Case Summary Mr. Cummings, who was licensed in 1995, was suspended for six months. After failing to prepare and record a mechanic’s lien on behalf of a client, he fabricated a purported lien and delivered to it the client as if it were genuine and had been timely recorded. As a result, the client lost its right to foreclose on any lien that would have been properly recorded. The suspension is effective on April 10, 2017.
