Case Summary Ms. Guzman, who was licensed to practice in 1995, was censured. While acting as an assistant state's attorney, she sent a letter to two people involved in a neighborhood dispute. The letter contained threats to institute charges that she knew or reasonably should have known were not supported by probable cause and served merely to harass or maliciously injure the recipients of the letter.
