Disposition Suspension for a specified period
Effective Date of Disposition 10/10/2025
End Date of Disposition 11/09/2025
Definition of Disposition Suspension for a specified period reflects a determination that the lawyer has engaged in misconduct and that the misconduct warrants an interruption of the lawyer's authority to practice law during the suspension period, which is a fixed period of time identified in the Supreme Court's order. The lawyer is not authorized to practice law during the period of the suspension.
Case Summary Mr. Napierala was licensed in Wisconsin and Illinois in 1990. In December 2024, the Supreme Court of Wisconsin publicly reprimanded him for failing to diligently represent clients in a foreclosure action and an employment discrimination case, making misrepresentations to the court in the employment discrimination matter, and not properly communicating with a third party about his receipt and disbursement of funds in which the third party had an interest. The Supreme Court of Illinois imposed reciprocal discipline and suspended him for 30 days. The suspension is effective on October 10, 2025.
