While a candidate in a contested judicial election, she made false statements on a legal blog about a prior ARDC investigation into her conduct as a prosecutor. In addition, while serving as an Assistant Cook County State’s Attorney, she made an improper closing argument in a murder prosecution. The suspension is effective on October 16, 2013.
