LAWYER SEARCH
Search for attorneys licensed by the Supreme Court of Illinois by filling in the
attorney's last name and selecting an exact or phonetic last name search. Use one
or more of the other search fields to narrow your search. The first few letters may
be sufficient for the first name and city. Exact last name searches will display only
up to 20 records per search. Phonetic last name searches will display only up to 75
records per search. If your search would yield more than the maximum number of records,
you will be prompted to narrow your search.
WARNING:
Addresses for certain attorneys are not presented on our website due to privacy considerations or because we do not have the data. These attorneys may include retired judges, retired lawyers, inactive lawyers, deceased lawyers and lawyers who have never registered with the ARDC.
If you believe an attorney may have one of the above statuses, please DO NOT fill in any of the ADDRESS FIELDS when attempting your search. Entering any address information for such attorneys will automatically exclude them from your search.
Additionally, if you are not certain that you have the correct address information for an attorney, please do not fill in the address fields. An erroneous value will exclude that attorney from your search.

New attorneys are authorized to practice law pursuant to their Illinois license as soon as they are sworn-in. Newly admitted attorneys need to register with the ARDC by December 31st of the year of admission. For more information, please click the New Admittees link.
